Find me amongst the flowers.............

I have been doing art since I before I can remember.

What once started out as drawing, painting, wood burning, designing cakes, interior decorating, polymer clay jewelry, turning into resin. I became fascinated with being able to freeze things in time.

I first got into resin work in 2013 taking an entomology class at the University of Kentucky, preserving bugs. In 2016 after my father passed away from brain cancer, I wanted a special way to preserve the flowers from his funeral - resin preservation was my answer.

From there, my favorite hobby has turned into a full-time job and passion. From floral preservation for weddings, to funerals, to other special events - the options are endless. I provide preservation services for cremations.

It is so fulfilling to create lifelong art in such a meaningful way for others like the joy it brought me long ago!

Expired Beauty: beauty beyond the deceased.

Just because something is no longer living, does not mean it still cannot bring you joy each and every day. I love to find the beauty in absolutely everything in life, and I hope I can help bring that to you through handmade floral art.

I pride myself in supporting small throughout my business as the majority of my shadow box frames are custom locally made; that includes several local florists that assist with remaking bouquet orders. I make sure to use the most effective, quality-approved and eco-friendly resin on the market.

Expired Beauty partners with a local non-profit organization in support of local Kentucky women in their fight against breast cancer - a cause which is very close to my heart. Learn more about Betty's Brave & Beautiful Hearts Foundation here. In addition, I donate art pieces to local charity foundations.

Expired Beauty is featured in the The Scout Guide Lexington 2024 v.10 along with several other premier local artists and small local businesses.
