Hello friends! I first got into resin work in 2013 taking entomology at UK, preserving bugs in a cool way. In 2016 after my father passed away from brain cancer & I wanted a special way to preserve the flowers from his funeral. My favorite craft has turned into a passion of floral preservations for weddings, funerals and other special events. I also preserve human/animal ashes. It is so fulfilling to create lifelong art in such a meaningful way for other families like the joy it brought me long ago!

 

 I started gardening and really getting into flowers, once I started preserving and turning them into art, I knew I found my passion. This is where the name Expired Beauty comes from! Beauty beyond the deceased. Just because something is no longer living does not mean it still cannot bring you joy each and every day. I love to find the beauty in absolutely everything in life and I hope I can help bring that to you as well through floral art.

 

 I pride myself by having a sustainable business as much as I can by growing my own flowers/plants, preserving them and then turn them into lifelong art pieces. I love teaching my daughter how to paint with berry juice and make colorful art from nature. I make sure to use the most effective, quality approved and eco-friendly resin on the market and custom order handmade frames while supporting another local small business. I use cost of materials & time to make my pricing and pride myself with still having competitive prices in this field of work.
